In addition, the company provides training and technical services to its customers. The company was founded in 1988 and is based in Dallas, Texas. As of March 2000, CompUSA is a subsidiary of Grupo Sanborns, S.A. de C.V. Recently the company has undergone some restructuring, with the closing of 126 stores nationwide.
